Regardless of the season, our spacious screened-in porch allows you to bask in the natural surroundings, ensuring a mosquito-free experience. Nestled in the shadows of Old Rag Mountain, renowned as the most popular hike in Shenandoah National Park, our cabin offers easy access to the trailhead. A short drive away lies another gem, the lesser-known yet fantastic White Oak Canyon hike. Additionally, DuCard Vineyards is merely a three-mile drive, offering hyperlocal wines and delightful musical entertainment on Saturdays. For a taste of local fare, The Little Country Store in Etlan, a nearby institution, provides pizza—and if timed right, mouthwatering BBQ.
