Nestled within our sanctuary, we invite guests aged 12 and above to experience a unique escape in our one-of-a-kind treehouse. This is no ordinary accommodation; it's a haven for nature lovers, nestled amidst rescued llamas, alpacas, chickens, dogs, and cats. Perched 15 feet above the forest floor, the treehouse is cocooned within an 80-year-old bamboo forest. Here, you'll find Bolivian suri alpacas roaming freely and gentle, calm llamas grazing in harmony. Awaken to the soothing sight of swaying bamboo through the large skylight and bask in the jewel tones of stained glass as the sun filters through. For an extra dose of charm and comfort, enjoy the swinging rope bed, affectionately known as the Bali bed, decked with plush pillows and a full-sized mattress. The serenity of the morning is complemented by the nearby crowing of roosters, a testament to the fact that you are on a working farm within the city of Atlanta. Sip your coffee on the large porch, supported by majestic black locust trees. Stroll around the deck to admire the bamboo forest or watch the alpacas and llamas. The treehouse roof, clad in 1861 South Georgia barn tin, creates a symphony of raindrops if the weather turns. Don't worry; we've insulated it for energy efficiency, so you'll enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. Our live-edge heart cedar stairs add to the beauty of the treehouse, wrapped in cedar trim and vintage heart of pine siding, which once adorned an old Atlanta house. Inside, you'll find antiques, a composting toilet, a small fridge, and a Keurig coffee maker for your convenience. We provide 3 gallons of potable water and an antique enamelware wash basin for your needs. The fully functional marble bathroom, a short walk through the bamboo forest, boasts a stunning walk-in shower, a "no rules" toilet, and a vintage restored sink. In our treehouse, time seems to stand still as you connect with nature and experience a world where rescued animals and the rustic beauty of the past meet. This is not just a place to stay; it's a sanctuary of serenity and a work of art that welcomes you with open arms.
